Completing the Race and Extreme Fishing Challenges

Once you locate Vanellope in the cavern, she will challenge you to a fast-paced race back to the mine entrance. It does not matter whether you win or lose the race, as the story continues regardless. Speak with her outside the entrance to trigger the final phase of the activity.

The quest concludes with a quick three-minute challenge called extreme fishing. You simply need to catch three fish in the nearby river to satisfy her rules. Speaking to Vanellope one last time completes the quest, granting you friendship experience and unlocking her next progression milestones.
